Pacific Customs Brokers is seeking a full-time office administrative support support team member. The primary responsibility of this position is answering and directing calls from a multi-line switchboard. Additional duties include filing, sorting, document retrieval, and other general office tasks.
Since we prefer to promote from within to develop top notch customs brokers, only candidates with an interest in a long-term role will be considered.
Due to our involvement in international trade, we operate 24/7/365 and flexibility with time is necessary. This position will change shift times periodically and will include mostly overnights and afternoons, with some days. This also includes at least one weekend day. Monday-Friday day or strictly night shifts are not available.
Applicant must have:
- MS Office experience
- Experience with multiple-line switchboard
- Excellent time management
- Great organization skills
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English at a professional level, additional languages a definite asset
- Flexible schedule
- Experience with customs brokerage a definite asset
We are located at the US/Canada border crossing (176th Street and 1st Avenue) in South Surrey/White Rock. Public transportation is not available to this location.
Pay package includes base wage of $14.00 - $16.50/hr to start, benefits, profit sharing, and much more.
